FELLOWSHIP: Jesus saw fellowship as vital to his ministry and so do we! We have a Friendship Group which meets for a time of fellowship. Most of its meetings involve talks by invited guests on many interesting subjects followed by refreshments. It meets fortnightly at the church. There is also a weekly Carpet Bowls Club on Tuesdays at 7pm and a singing group, The Wansbeck Singers, which meets on Fridays at 7.30pm. Our new Lunch Club meets on Mondays at 12 o'clock and we often follow lunch with a film show. Several groups meet at Trinity Church including the Townswomen's Guild, U3A, the Ashington History Society and an ME Support Group. We also hold regular concerts, quiz evenings, dinners, shared lunches, coffee mornings, days out and hope to extend our activities. The Future: We shall continue to have fayres, concerts and a variety of social events which will be advertised in our newsletter and on the Noticeboard. PASTORAL CARE: Jesus calls us to care for one another. We have a team of dedicated pastoral visitors who work with the minister to take care of our fellowship.
