WORSHIP: We have two services on Sundays, at 10.30am and 6.00pm, led by our minister or visiting preachers. Services include prayers, traditional and modern hymns, sermons, talks for adults and children alike, bible readings, and communion on the first Sunday morning and third Sunday evening of each month. Junior Church meets weekly, joining in the first part of the service before taking part in their own activities. There is also a mid-week communion on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month at 10am, led by our minister, lasting about half an hour. We hold quiet healing services, communions using various liturgies, Songs of Praise services, cafe-style worship and have a Worship Group which regularly leads worship. We encourage member participation. The Future: We are constantly looking at ways to bring variety to our worship. We use several liturgies for communion and try new styles of worship fom time to time. PRAYER: Jesus saw prayer as vital to his ministry. He prayed to God often, and taught us to pray too. We have a Prayer Circle which will pray for any concerns as requested. We also take part in 24/7 prayer initiatives with other churches in town. In 2006, we hosted such a prayer event which lasted 169 hours! The Future: We shall be exploring new prayer initiatives to make our prayer lives more vibrant. BAPTISMS, THANKSGIVING FOR THE BIRTH OF A CHILD, CONFIRMATION, WEDDINGS, MARRIAGE BLESSINGS AND FUNERALS: All of these rites and ceremonies take place at Trinity Church and you are welcome to discuss your wishes and needs with the minister.
